<title>Block MSN Messenger in the company</title>

<description><![CDATA[anon posted : Dear friends,<br><br>We are experiencing a lot of distraction within our employees because most of them are chatting with Microsoft Messenger. I would like to know how to block that port (I guess 1863).<br><br>I'm aware that they could change the MSN port or they can use a web-based MSN service but for instance blocking the actual app might work.<br><br>I have looked into the 2Wire Firewall settings and I can block specific ports for specific IPs. The thing here is that we have many people (students) coming to our office with laptops and we want to avoid those people to log into MSN in the middle of a meeting.<br><br>How can I block a single port for the entire set of IPs that are given in my router?<br><br>Thank you very much in advance for any help and for the time this might take you.<br><br>Best regards,<br><br>EP]]></description>
