My connection doesn't seem to be getting throttled anymore. Not sure about others.

It's 16/2, not 20/2.

They don't cap and the throttling only started recently.

I don't know what SafePeer is, i hope it's not something like Peer Guardian.

You won't get capped, download/upload all you want.

Its advertised at 15/2 but the cap is set at 16500/2200

Yeah but i don't even get anywhere close so what i'm supposed to get. I also have FIOS and with my FIOS connection i get what i pay for.

Yea tell me about it I have been through it all with OOL and my fios never has any issues that OOL has so I believe you on that one.

Don't worry though. Lets keep our OOL connections regardless and maybe our rants in this forum will change something.

We can always hope for it but you have seen me go crazy on here and about 7 months of going at it with OOL techs and still its a messed up line for me and the best they can do is credit me. I don't want credit I want better service so take the money you credit me and fix something LOL.

My speeds in the day are less than half of advertised with OOL while my Fios is $5 more than an internet only OOL Boost and you get more than your advertised speeds with Fios.

Which package you have with Fios ?

Yeah 15/2 I meant to say. I understand they just bumped it slightly to about 16 (I get about 14500 / 1900 kb/s up from about 13500)

SafePeer is just like Peer Guardian from what I understand. It's an Azureus plugin and uses the same data from Bluetack to block unwanted peers and hopefully avoid the nastygrams.

I use bit torrent sort of like a TIVO. I miss a TV show and I dl it and try to share 1:1. I use Blockbuster for my movies and don't dl much else so hopefully they won't bother me for my occasional use.

As far as the speeds, I guess I wasn't throttled because my torrent speeds were normal for my connection at 500/150 kB/s.
