Gee, guess what, I fell for that trick originally with the RIAA. First I bought Albums, then I bought casettes, then CD's. Guess what, I've spent all the money I will EVER spend on music. I just don't pay for music anymore.

That's the reason it will take a very long time to succeed. They 'expected' everyone to go out and re-buy their entire movie collection. It this economy, that sure as hell isn't going to happen. Sure you get the videophiles, who will rebuy their collection in Blu-Ray format, but those are the same morons who spend $100.00 for a 'monster' cable, when a $5.00 cable will provide EXACTLY the same benefit.

Don't get me wrong, I have a 1080p HD tv, and I do have a couple of blue ray movies, but only because they came with the player. If I WANT to watch a HD movie, I'm more than willing to watch it on my Samsung 2600x1900 resolution 30" flat screen monitor.
