Thanks everyone for the positive feedback, I enjoy reading the comments and have to credit most the people here for sharing their pictures and comments for me to learn from. I am about 1 month into my Nikon D50 DSLR and am really enjoying it over the P&S cameras. I hope to justify the cost, ($400), by taking family portraits and candid shots instead of going to a local professional like we have been doing. I learn a few more things every time I use it and try to take it with me to most places we go. Heading to St. Louis this weekend for some drag races and a car show, should be fun.
