Tomorrow is the big day some of us in MD

If my change over messes up my connection - y'all won't be talking about me while I'm gone, will ya?

Did some speed tests this morning to keep for comparison purposes. Here's my @home speeds:

2002-01-07 10:33:56 Speed test (wc) 2265/127 kbps
2002-01-07 10:33:11 Speed test (la) 2420/68 kbps
2002-01-07 10:32:23 Speed test (ec) 2244/129 kbps

Here's my line test (which actually passed everything this morning - even that pesky Gambrills router!)»/quali ··· l/632530

I glad I wont be seeing this any more:

this router has been a major problem of packet loss and sub DSL speed the last few months, I wont miss it one bit.

good luck to us all.

Re: Tomorrow is the big day some of us in MD

uh if the router is comming with us that is odd, I thought this was a "new" network and the routers and other equipment were owned by Home, what else was that high % of money resived from SUBs giving to home.

eather way @home speent all that money on that stupid portal. comcast has the money to invest in better managing and setting up the network now that @home is gone.

Comcast sent me an email, a snail mail letter and gave me an automated phone call about the switch. That's how I knew the date for my area. I received the email on the 5th - 3 days ahead of the scheduled day.

I'm in Baltimore County and while I've gotten a couple of emails and one snail mail. I haven't gotten any calls or been told any specific dates except what I have found out on various forums online. But since content and email aren't expected to up and running til February, I'm not going to worry....much.
