[Internet] Max 16 service?

Max 16/10 is just recently available in my area. Wondering if anyone has the Max16 service and what is it like?

Is it a constant speed (dosen't go down in the evenings?), what kind of sync do you get and so on?

Most people aren't interested in super fast speeds.

They want a reliable connection, reliable service, competent tech support and customer service.

These days, that's what keeps a customer happy, regardless if it's 1 Mbps, 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps.

once the speeds and connections are stable, the desire for more speed will increase.

Well, I was thinking about ordering the max 16 service to try it out, was offered 150 gig cap if I ordered today.

Still debating what to do, was hoping someone would say it sucked/or is awesome to help me make that decision.

Try to see if I could keep my teksavvy dryloop and service and have the max 16 on a second line. I think the Customer service Guy's head was about to explode when I asked this question, he started saying umm..alot...and put me on hold, I just gave up and hung up after the third time on hold, kinda reminds me why I left bell and never looked back.

Probably just order a second line at teksavvy to get faster speed.

Certainly no one is getting anything you're mentioning at the moment. Why not at least have more speed? Otherwise the price isn't worth it as it is.

Reliable, service, support, competence... That's not Bell and it hasn't been Bell in years now.

'Cause no matter how good fast the speed is, if the service to back it up sucks, you're going to cancel your service.

The definition of value is different from person to person and with the market saturated now, every ISP is fighting for the same customers.

What seperates the good from the bad is the total package, not just one aspect of it.

Are you serious, calling it a total package ?? You must be surely kidding.

The Tech Support in India sucks, bad business practices, including changing people's contracts from unlimited to ?? The business office keeps selling / promising speeds which in no way can be achieved, either distance from CO, line quality, or just faulty equipment (DSLAM. OEM, etc.). Nobody in Bell can connect the dots and actually respond when a customer complains that they are not receiving the correct speed.

Need I go further ?? So Bell is a total package of chaos, looking for suckers who can write Bell a blank cheque.

If I actually got what you mentioned I probably would've stayed but news flash, the total package has gone bad. You're not going to convince us any differently no matter how you spin it.

Whoa whoa whoa...you guys need to take a minute and breath and actually read what I posted.

I'm not trying to spin anything. I never posted "Bell is/has the total package". I was referring to what's required in order to keep customers happy.

I'm simply posting what the recipe for success is. I never said Bell was using that recipe.

I can't complain. I have a 6meg connection and i always had good support from bell techs in bell direct. INDIA IS ANOTHER STORY, VERY BAD SERVICE. I canceled my wireless service because of INDIA.

When I had Max 16... I was getting maximum 12... because
of the distance. But it was constant and I didnt notice a
lot of slowdowns. Just sad it was not available where I moved.

Except for a minute he looked like he was pulling a PR move until he was forced to show his other hand.

No, you simply mis-interpreted what I posted and assume everything I post is PR related.

It's okay to accept your were wrong and admit it - I won't use it against you...for too long.

You need to lighten up Sbrook. This appears to be a lively and healthy discussion (and real persons or animals got killed). We all know the constraints he is working under.

My hats off to Deadpool, for it is only a gentleman who will acknowledge his limitations. ... and I guess no animals or humans were harmed during this PR move, and he promises not to use it against anyone ... albeit not too long.
