Reg: RafaelCA..If your distance from CO is not excessive>over 12,000 ft. and you have had consistent speeds as you stated, the problem really isn't a problem. Call your dsl support phone number. Pacbell caps, almost always, new dsl profiles. There are 3 levels of capping. It appears to me that your line has been capped at 384kbps. They WILL at your request raise the level to 768kbps, and if you have no sync prob's or other connectivity problems,after a couple of weeks, call them again and request that your line be re-profiled at 1.5mbps. Been there... done that...hope this helps...:) |
