<description><![CDATA[DSL12steps posted : If there's already a NID on/ in the building, then we won't install a new one unless it's REALLY out of date. If you just have a small 2 post 'protector' mounted in the basement or crawl/etc. Then we would need to install a NID in order to correctly terminate the new home run. NID's are required for any type of circuit as a demarcation point for telco to end user.  <br><br>The home run will cost at minimum $95. Or $120 depending on how the tech does the billing. Usually, it's $60 for the first half hr then $35 for each additional half hr. This is if you have a dispatch set up thru the DSL service side. There's a 'additional router leg" type code that I can use for the straight $120 fee.  If you have the regular telco 'install new jack and wiring' dispatch, then it's about $100 per hr. Get it set up thru the DSL side and it will b less expensive.]]></description>

If you want them to come indoors to do any wiring adjustments, there will probably be a fee.
