kelito posted : FINAL UPDATE: Got a call from the assigned UVerse tech dispatched to solve my issue this morning. He was at the cross-connection box that serves my house and mentioned that someone had vandalized the connections, affecting several users. He said the box inside looked like a mess, wires cut and yanked all over. That sucks. Who would do such a thing, and why??

Matt, thank you so much for your offer. I will keep it in mind, but I hope I won't need to use it.

Got the service back, and I am happy. Can't blame Uverse for an idiot going out and destroying property.

Thanks,

K.

mmay149q posted : If you don't get this issue resolved, please let me know, I'm Matt with U-Verse Tier II Technical Support, and I would be more than happy to help you. In fact if you would like to private message me your billing account number, and a good contact number, I would be more than happy to look over all your services to see if it's internal or external.
kelito posted : UPDATE: I spoke with Tier 1 support. If it was ever a broader issue/outage affecting many users, it is now definitely an issue with my RG/installation. They "bounced the port", a.k.a. power off and power back on my port at their end (thanks, StarFish267) but the RG still can't sync up with the DSLAM.

They dispatched a tech for tomorrow. Stay tuned.

kelito posted : Thanks. I was on the phone with Customer Service again. They informed me that the network problem had been fixed, but I still have no service. They tried to escalate my case to a 2nd level support, but after 30 minutes on the phone waiting for the next rep available, the Customer Service agent promised me to call me back after he got someone on the case.

I will mention that (bouncing the port) to the tech when they call me back.

Another day with no service.
anon posted : Service went down yesterday around 5:45PM local time, and haven't gotten it back since (18 hours already). Red light blinking (Broadband indicator) at the RG, so no TV, Phone or Internet.

After 2 calls to Customer Service I was told that there was a problem in the network and my VRAD (PLAPTXOK) was affected, so the whole neighborhood has no service (needless to say that the Uverse website indicates no network problems currently). No ETA for solving the issue.

Anybody with the same problem? Does this make sense?
