Vonage charge too much fees

By looking at my bill today with Vonage, Total bill is $60.31, but the fees really got me:
Regulatory and Compliance Fee: $2.98
Emergency 911 Service Fee $2.98
Local 911 Fee $5.00
Federal Program Fee $3.83
State Communications Service Tax $3.38
Local Communications Service Tax $3.38
State Telecom Infrastructure Maintenance Fee $0.24

Why the fees are so much?

Fees??? Those seem like taxes. Ask your local and state goverment why? Is not like they do not tax you alredy for Income, Sales, Property, Gasoline, Cell phone, and what ever other tax they have///

I'm in Cali here and yeah, I noticed almost all of my fees jumped up this month. Then I noticed that I have not been using my 866 number anymore so I canceled it. LOL We'll see how my bill looks next month.

Yes it charges too much so I disconnected there service. But
if you have Vonage, not happy with the service or want to disconnect talk to there customer support (which will be of no use).
Here is what they charged me for disconnecting without talking to them:

1. $40.00 disconnection fee since I did not complete 2 year agreement. (Who reads the fine prints of agreement!!)

2. $79.99 equipment fee since I did disconnect the service on 11th month, even thou' I paid for the 12 month service fees.

3. My billing starts on 02 of each month and since I was transferring the number, new service company said they would disconnect the service from the Vonage, but unfortunately it ended up on 4th of that month (may be Vonage intentionally delays transferring the number, even thou I initiated 2 weeks before that), I was billed for that month which is $25.

So overall Vonage charged close to $140.00 for disconnection.
I am stupid to move to Vonage to save some Money and ended up losing much more than what I was planning to save.
