I just received a call from them today and I decided to pickup and it went through its robocall and said to hit 9. Somebody picked up with a really strong British accent (could be something else maybe Welsh) and told her I would like to stop receiving the calls and don't even have a credit card to stop calling me. I know they use some robo dialer because my number has never been published or used anywhere without my permission.

Did you clean up the clicks? I saved it then edited it in Audacity to remove the clicking. After that I exported it as a new MP3 file.
Its funny because those clicks were part of the original message, not an artifact that I (on my equipment) introduced. Sounds like "Heather" and friends are cheaping out on their robo equipment these days!

This was a call that I didnt pick up, so it went to voicemail. All voicemails are recorded, and if you chose, also transcribed as well.

They should be required to tell you that they are trying to scam you for your card numbers at the begining of the call, and clearly identify "Hello This is an automated call we are attempting to rip you off, press 1 to continue, press 2 to enter your card number and exp date without speaking to a live scammerl, press 3 to enter the phone numbers of your family and friends"

Quick, painless and to the point
they pretty much tell you that by not giving you info you would expect (the credit company) and using a robocall.

Those 2 things alone should tell every one to hang up.
