said by Exodus:I have yet to join a single "Raid of 22-23 that's pugging 2-3 more". Every group I've been in has always been pulling straight out of the LFG tool, the LFG and trade channels.
These are straight pugs. Imagine a world where the pugs weren't filled with absolutely horrible players, where a little armory research on each candidate is required, but you're still capable of putting together a group for any raid in under 30 minutes.
I'm afraid that is beyond my limit of comprehension. I'm not at all questioning whether it happens on your server, just that it's so far outside my previous experiences that it's not something I can wrap my head around.
I've pugged into successful raids and had good puggles pugged into ours. However, the chances of success are usually inversely propotionate to the number of puggles. A good raid leader who takes the time to check the armory before pugging someone in helps immensely, but that doesn't always happen unfortunately. Lots of people in LFG end up being undergeared, inexperienced, or just plain bad.
As I'm guessing is the case on any server, healers have little trouble finding raids, with groups willing to lower their standards a bit due to the shortage.
