[trouble] Small glitches on Upper West Side of Manhattan?Today a Verizon tech visited my apt. (finally!) and said that one of the COs on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, NYC, was having general problems with DSL, and that I was correct in noticing some intermittent internet glitches. Was Verizon's problem, not my equipment or interior lines. He also said that a big chunk of the DSL tech work force had been reassigned to FIOS, that normal DSL maintenance was short staffed, and that he had a lot of service calls in the neighborhood.
Anyone else notice the same thing? |

Well, I'm not in Manhattan or near NYC at all, but I can say that in my area Verizon has told DSL Techs to work on FiOS now, so DSL techs have gone down in my area as well. |

What part of Manhattan? My kids are in Washington Heights out of the 176th CO and I didn't hear anything about it. |

The CO on West 73rd Street, so I imagine at least the 60s through the 80s, but I doubt Washington Heights. |
