[Opera] Opera's nice but it also sucks...

Well, on my LinuxMint laptop I've been using Opera because I have to go to a website that doesn't like Firefox for work. Opera seems to play nice with this site..

My questions are as follows...

Can I uninstall Opera Mail? When I installed Opera through the Synaptic manager it did not give me a choice. I use Thunderbird...

Maybe I'd like to keep Opera mail, but I need to use a sync program for calendar and contacts. I presently sync through Thunderbird and Lightning with the Funambol plug in but I can easily switch to Google Sync. I found an Opera widget for Google Calendar I can live with. Is there anything I can use for Opera Contacts? What can I do to sync Opera contacts with Google? Or Funambol?

I can't believe Opera hasn't answered that issue. It really is a Nice browser and very fast. Just impractical for me at least.. with their email program...

Opera Mail is part and parcel to the Opera browser.
In my usage of Opera, I do not employ Opera Mail, as I have Thunderbird for e-mail usage.
Personally, just don't worry about Opera Mail and continue with what you have, just as I do.

I'd give the website a test in arora to see if it works.

It's a lightweight browser based on webkit. KInd of reminds me of the early versions of firefox, when it was named pheonix and then firebird.
