Granted, it is Sunday and I was surprised that they responded quickly. However, it is the response that I found unacceptable. They could have said that they will look at the issue during the week and get back to me. I would have been happy with that, but here is what they said: "Hello,
We have reviewed our wholesale records for those particular calls and we are showing that the calls did connect, and were billed properly. Unfortunately, in this case, as our records are showing that the calls did connect, and was billed properly, we cannot issue a refund for that call as we were also billed for that calls as well.
We have placed a few test calls to 98xxxxxxxxx Iran Tehran through various carriers and were able to replicate the issue. We are transferring your trouble ticket to our routing department, and they will update you with regards to the issue."
The parts in bold is what bugs me. They've even acknowledged that there was a problem and that they replicated it, yet at the same time they won't own up to it...
Like you said, it's about a buck, but it's the principle that matters. Routing issues happen with a lot of calls to Iran, but most often, the telephone company accepts the problem, refunds for calls that are obviously incomplete calls and looks into improving the service in the future.
My past experience with them was with Canada/US calls only, and sure, that was fine. |

I am sorry to hear about your problem with call centric. From what you have written it appears that call centric did its part in delivering the calls. It really sounds like a problem with number being call phone carrier. Call centric had to pay to terminate the calls on the phone carrier in Iran. It seems like your anger is misdirected . Call centric stated they ran test from "several different carriers " obviously if it happened on all the carriers there is a problem with the carrier being called. Why should call centric give you a refund for something beyond its control. |
