We set a local security policy that makes the home page »
www.xyz.com/ well that site no longer works and we have a lot of people who don't connect to our domain.
After finding the setting I was able to fix it on a users machine but I went to do it on another machine and ran into a problem where the screen was blank where you can write in the address.
I scrolled though the other options and all of them are like that.
The users are local administrators, I was able to replicate the problem on my Windows 7 virtual Windows XP install. None the workstations I'm using are on the domain and have been set to work group.
I've tried enabling the setting and then going back into the setting change screen and no difference please help as I'd like to tell the rest of my team how to fix URL but I need to ensure how to fix the problem listed here.
