jseymour posted : What BIT said.

As an additional check you could try going direct to the cablemodem and see if that changes anything, but, as I said, your downstream SNR is marginal at 32.5dB. So I suspect you have a cabling or modem issue. But I'm far from a cable system expert, so I could well be wrong.

Jim

jseymour posted : Your downstream SNR is marginal. You want to see 33dB or better. Preferably 35dB or better. Could be many reasons for it. Let's start with something over which you may have some control: What's your in-house cable wiring like and how old is it? Got any sub-standard splitters in the mix?

Jim

Im thinking this is on comcasts side not mine. This has happened before and it lasted 3 weeks then cleared up on its on. I had all wires replaced and coax ran from the pole to my house. Router is a Belkin wireless N+ with the latest firmware. Modem Is the small ambit modem comcast provides sorry forgot name and cant check from here. No splitters at all since i only use internet now. Also does anyone think i could be getting my connection trottled by comcast? I dont think ive reached any kind of cap limit or close. I do play a bunch of Xbox live and i stream tv shows, movies, download songs.
