Re: [ Cataclysm] Rage Normalization in Cataclysm

Yeah but now you're sacrificing GCDs to do it.

I kind of like cleave and HS being "on next attack" for that reason. Right now it does not take the place of using another ability...oh well I'm sure whatever they do it will work out fine.

exactly, they will have to up the threat on pretty much all on next swing abilities, maybe even all of them, or warriors will fall way behind in threat production.

The mechanics will def need adjusting. But I'd rather they do that than leave it the way it is currently. When on my caster I'm cool with the delay of cast times, but when I'm melee I want abilities to fire when I hit them. HS and cleave irk me.

Fury can be exceptionally GCD capped or it can be in a lull. All depends on Bloodsurge (Slam!) procs, and I bet it's even more spiky and BS with the 4pcT10 bonus. Having to give up something to cleave is kind of lame as hell. We already tend to *not* use execute (at least around my level of gear it's supposedly 4th priority) because of how it's weak as shit and can easily take the place of something better. If BT/WW are about to come off CD and it's in execute range, I lose DPS if I hit Execute (esp. if Bloodsurge proc'd right before I let up on the execute key) unless I was a full 1.5s before their CDs were up.

The whole system is kind of wonky, though I sincerely enjoy it. The HS change is welcome because converting excess rage to HS is kind of bleh... Just a PITA. The cleave thing though... that blows.
