OK explain this to me please , I'm looking at going with your 2 year plan prepaid for the 250.00 and change that is on the website , Im getting a T1 installed 5/14 and was going to ask how long it takes to receive the equipment set up and port the # if i keep my existing #

what does this give me that the 2 year plan already doesnt have ??

Well for me on the East Coast in NY the equipment was mailed out on Thursday and arrived the next Monday. It came Priority Mails USPS with a tracking #. Since you replied to the deal at Fry's I assume your going to pick up the ATA locally. Your number can usually be ported in 7 days or less. The feature set is the same except you save about $100.00 vs. going month to month @ $14.95. If you need a cloned line make sure to ask PP to activate it for you, softphone is free as well just call or email PP. Thanks

Have Ooma. Really like it except when Simultaneous Ring kicks in.
You can't answer the call unless you press 1 first. Very unsafe while driving. To me, SR is the most important feature. So I'm switching to PP.

Yeah well, Oooma is great until the free ride is over and they go belly up and\or you need tech support. Also Ooma is far from free! Sure the base price is $200.00 but if you want any cool features you have to pay $10.00 a month. I will admit the cool features like call screening, community blacklist, are very cool BUT when something f@#ks up "Who Ya Gonna Call"?
