The OS is Vista but would apply to Windows 7.
What worked was to delete the file in question, in your case ndvxnw.sys, from the C:\Windows\Sytem32\Drivers folder.
There are various ways to access the C:\Windows\Sytem32\Drivers folder such as using a bootable recovery CD such as Knoppix.
You could also try opening a command prompt at Startup:

Use the command prompt to navigate to the C\Windows\Sytem32\Drivers folder and then delete the ndvxnw.sys.
Type cd C:\Windows\System32\drivers at the command prompt and press "Enter" and then type del ndvxnw.sys and press "Enter".
