Right now the problem has occurred on several different types of devices across several different Internet connections and apparently several different customers as well.<br><br>I'm not likely to get my wife to use a softphone but if it starts to happen again I'll do my best to test with one.<br><br>At the end of the day, whether or not it works with a softphone, I need to be able to reliably use hardware like my ATAs to make outbound calls that succeed almost all of the time.  I understand that this isn't guaranteed but don't want my wife's first choice to be to pick up her cell phone to make a long distance call from the house or from her business.  For more than half a year I had almost no problems so I know it is possible.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[jeltz posted : Some of it sounds the same.  His most common symptom was loud static.  I supplied some CDR data and a voicemail with static.  It was left by my wife calling from sub-account trying to call one of my DIDs.  She can't remember to use the extension.  I haven't experienced the problem using extensions between sub-accounts or on inbound calls from the PSTN. <br><br>Mango - Did you try fetching CDR data while you were experiencing these problems?    I was trying to open a ticket while having the problems and AJAX script that fetches data was having a lot of trouble and was very slow.  Even when it returned data, it was not that recent.  It was stale for quite a long time.  Well over an hour old.  I had to wait a long time before I could copy some of the records.]]></description>

I guess if we knew what the problem was  we could avoid it.  I haven't had the party line experience that Mango but the dropped calls and static have made it wife a little frustrated.  <br><br>After more than half a year with no outbound problems I convinced my wife that we should try porting our number from Bell and have the DID fail-over to our cell phones.  <br><br>Now that I've done that we haven't really had an issue with inbound but suddenly outbound has become hit or miss.  I helped her setup Voip at her small business too.  She seems to be the one that encounters most of the problems and has the least patience with them.  When calls cut out on her at work or customers get an earful of static she likes to explain that her crazy husband is responsible for the wacky phone system she is using.]]></description>

Sometimes, there's only a ticket in our support queue about a problem that is discussed by many people in a thread, so this could help pinpoint issues faster for them. <br><br>As far as I know, there was no issues with privacy, just routing messed up with ISP Telecom for some rate centers.<br><br>We'll provide more details as we receive them.<br><small>--<br>Martin - VoIP.ms</small>]]></description>

They replied that there weren't and that if I continued to experience problems that I should re-open the ticket.  My problems last week where dropped calls and the other parties claimed they heard a robot.  Things seemed fine from the weekend until the middle of this past week though.<br><br>The problems have only been with outbound calls that I know of.  I guess that if it makes it as far as me answering it then I know about it.  I've used them for outbound for half a year now without issues.  It is really just the past couple of weeks that have me worried.  <br><br>They suggested trying a softphone too presumably to rule out my hardware but I've got multiple phones in different locations and they have all had problems recently that they haven't experienced before.  <br><br>In a strange way, I'm happy to hear that others are having these problems too.  I don't feel like I'm alone in experiencing it.]]></description>

I originally wrote the very first review of it on this website (DSLR).<br><br>But I started having problems like this making outbound calls, and neither tweaks to the ATA, nor changing servers, helped that much.  That's when I started using them for inbound calls (DID service) only.<br><br>Voip.MS are good folks, with innovative ideas, and I hope that they get this weirdness locked down.]]></description>

Sometimes I have to call someone 2-3 times before it works.  Or I give up and call on my cell.<br><br>My wife called me our home DID from her sub-account she uses at work, I missed the call and it went to voicemail... I have a nice recording of the loud static.<br><br>It was really bad on Thursday and Friday.  I didn't notice any problem yesterday.  There were quite a few problems in the week before for me too.  I opened a ticket for that but I didn't follow up on it.<br><br>I opened a new ticket for my latest problems.<br><br>My wife doesn't really trust the phone any more.<br><br>When I was opening the latest ticket I was trying to get CDR info about specific calls but the website was having a really hard time getting the records.  It took a really long time and when they did show up they were hours old.  The website seemed to be sluggish but the javascript that was fetching the records was REALLY slow.]]></description>
