Re: [Anime] Torchwood is BACK!

From what I have read, in order to see Torchwood it'll have to be on Starz, Itunes or torrent in the US. Torchwood will be carried on BBC1 in th UK.

If Starz is getting Torchwood, NetFlix probably will be too!

Starz eh?

IMHO that's pretty significant, because NetFlix has a cozy licensing deal with Starz, to make almost all Starz broadcast content available to NetFlix customers at no extra charge! Now you do have to either view the "streaming" content on your PC or have a NetFlix streaming viewing device (in my case I use a $100 ROKU player to view NetFlix streaming directly on my TV), to view the Starz content, but NetFlix doesn't charge their customers any extra for their streaming service.

So if the new Torchwood is really going to be licensed to Starz, it will also probably be available for "free" (i.e. no cost beyond the basic NetFlix subscription cost) to NetFlix customers (such as myself)!

BTW: For anyone interested in catching up on the older/existing Torchwood episodes (seasons 1 and 2, as well as "Children of Earth"), they are (last I checked) still up on NetFlix streaming. So if you missed some of these episodes, and you have a NetFlix account (and broadband internet, so that you can stream this video), it should be easy to catch up.

Yep, streaming with no issues. There was a glitch some months ago where for whatever reason the 2nd episode of each season was available on disc only. It looks like they fixed that problem.

I currently stream with my Wii and it rocks.
