Re: Prince is the sign of what is wrong with Music

They're still going, but whether they're going strong is very debatable. In the 80s a lot of this stuff was topping charts.

I was listening to this kind of stuff today, I really miss it.

I HEAR STUPID COMMENT AFTER STUPID COMMENT! Prince was one of the 1st artists to use the internet for distribution of his music, but fell out of love with it when they would not pay him up front for the scores of music and videos he's made. Youtube and itunes and many more like them promote piracy that true artist are sick and tired of imaginge someone stealing over 40% of your hard earned check because they downloaded a video of someone doing the same job you do so they pay them your money! respect what this man has done and is trying to do for music make it truly accessible for the fans in venues and stores without the rip-off of corporations charging you $16 for what the artist would sell you for $8-$10 if you dont know what this man stands for just shut up and go learn before u spit silly mess about things you do not know prince has been preaching the things you have come to think others thought of for years, (own your masters, produce yourself, distribute your own, cut out ticketmaster) wake up people!
