[CATV] Home Theater PC + SA8300HD... Advice?I'm considering adding a Windows 7 Home Theater PC to my living room TV setup. There have been some times that I would like to record some shows, but I'm watch a stream and my DVR is recording a stream.
I've been looking at the Ceton InfiniTV4 card. So the question is... has anyone in Charter Northeastern CT experienced having a SA8300HD DVR and a HTPC setup? Some of the boards report that I would need 2 Cablecards from Charter and 2 tuning adapters.
I just don't want to drop $750 on a setup that won't work at all with Charter.
Got any advice for me? |

I could be wrong, but I didn't think Charter was supporting cable cards any longer, and even when they were, coverage was hit or miss. |

Good old (young) UMatter2Charter Josh told me that the do in fact support CableCards... and Multiplexing cards... Would just need a tuning adapter for the Ceton card I am considering.
