Re: terminate unused connectors or notActual terminators (the resistor type) can cause more problems than they fix and have fallen out of favor in many systems. In my system, we found a lot of the stingers corroded over time -- we have actively removed any resistor-type terminators and replaced them with locking terminators w/weather seals. |

I always wondered why they changed. Thanks for that info. Kind of been wondering why for a long time. |

We did the same thing down here. They turn into little ingress antenna monsters...
I think most people could do more good with a 7/16th wrench and tightening their fittings. Quarter turn past hand tight |

alright, so now I'm back to my original question, use them or not? all my connections terminate at wall plates with the F connector keystone jacks... the only place that doesnt do this is where it ends up in the wiring closet the 8-way splitter has a couple unused jacks on them..
the ones I have are the 75-ohm type |

If you TORQUE them properly, put em on. If not, don't bother. |

In the home with an 8-way split and most of the ports used the reflections won't be high enough to affect anything noticeable. |
