DirecTV To Drop More Low-Rated Channels → Re: Not been missed?

So people like getting LESS channles and paying the same or MORE? I question the intelligence of someone that supports that.

I've never tuned that channel, why would I care if it's gone? Suggesting I would be upset that I'm losing value in a channel I never watch is some of the worst logic I've ever heard. Seriously, I should be upset that a Channel I NEVER watch is gone?

Oh no I lost a channel I never watched to begin with and they didn't cut my price the $0.25 the channel costs. Never mind that the slot isn't going to remain vacant or that it might end up filled with a channel that I will watch or that they might not raise prices as much at the next increase because they don't have to pay for this channel anymore. No, I'm going to stomp my feet and be angry that a stupid channel that I've never watched and that has worthless content is gone. Oh I know, I'm so angry about this channel being gone, I will kill my DirecTV subscription and go to Comcast and end up paying $20 more a month. That's a great Idea! Now I've got back a channel I don't watch, pay $20 more a month AND have half the HDTV channels that I DO watch. Great plan there. I guess I should expect that kind of reasoning from someone that watches a channel that shows 90% COPS reruns.

So what if this was the beginning of slashing channels with some that you did watch, would youo give a damn or would you go "meh".
