Genetic defects, cancer, etc.

I find it astonishing how many people simply put their heads in the sand when it to comes to this. "Gee, I can't feel it, so it must not be hurting me." Especially at this forum to be finding so many people with blind trust in government and industry to not put an unhealthy product on the market is quite unexpected, considering the cynicism usually expressed here. As long as the effect is slow, long term, and cannot be immediately connected (cancer?), this practice has been going on for years, at least in the US, and sanctioned by our government agencies -FDA, FCC, etc. and Congress

Do you really think that government(s) is/are going to protect you any better from the dangers of microwave radiation than they protect you against monopolistic/oligolopistic subscription TV and broadband Internet services, predatory lending, genetically modified foods, toxic chemicals in food, water, and health and beauty supplies, pharmaceutical companies petitioning for outright bans or severe restrictions on over the counter food supplements(vitamins, minerals, herbs, etc.) so they can use them in prescription drugs without having to worry about cheaper competition, etc.?

Have you read all the cautions in your cell phone manual? Do you know how far they expect you to hold or carry your sell phone from your body, head, face, etc. while it's being used or even just carried at your belt? Are you heeding those cautions? Even those distances are probably not going to protect you from the long term effects of repeated use. They are there like the warnings on cigarette packs, to reduce the liability for the manufacturers from the eventual lawsuits when the shit finally hits the fan.

The research is out there. The manufacturers know. It's only governments that pretend there's little or no danger.

if even one... true study of the so called "wireless sensitivity" can be shown then maybe people would believe it.
I think it would be pretty easy...
double blind study...

put person in faraday cage...
put wireless device in box... with no markings or lights...
run power to device on some sort or randomizer switch...
see if they can tell when it's on and off.

BUT no study has been done...
