Slow speeds in the Orange County area (So. CA)

Anyone in Orange County noticed a slow down in speeds this evening? I am getting speeds of anywhere from 1200 to 440? I have been getting speeds of 1200 + for the last 7 mo. with pings of 30 or less. Now my pings are 170 +?

I'm somewhere in the middle of you guys, and I'm not having any probs at all. Got 653/109 on the Megapath speedtest a minute ago, which is right in line with what I normally get.

Irvine, CA here. Tonite, 12/13/00, I have not been able to maintain sync for more than a few minutes from 4 pm till now (8:30 pm). I'm on 56kbs dial up to post this. Even as I write this, the dang Westell keeps blinking at me every few minutes. It's the story of my DSL-life. Still thinking of throwing in the towel and getting capped.
