Cable Company Comparison Chart

To all Charter Pipeline Customers:

Here is a comparison chart of a few cable companies that I made: »home.attbi.com/~plya4lif ··· _com.htm.

I didn't post here to do problems with using tables.

Hope that gives you a little more information about other Cable Internet Providers!

Please add Washington for your Charter Pipeline portion of your comparison list. Price is 35.95 per month for 768/128 speeds. This may change in the future though as there are plans to offer 1.5/384 for 54.95 per month. Note, this price is with cable TV service. The price will be ten dollars more without.

Geirr...I talked to the sales rep. He said its going to be 59.99 in Washington for 1.5/128 because they "cannot afford to give us faster upload speeds, as it would only promote the use of servers." You'd think for $60/month, youd get a little better than 128kpbs, but I guess not.

Cable TV Subscriber - $34.95, if he is paying $29.95, he must be on the contract, since now they are charging $34.95-$39.95. Non Cable Subscribers - $49.95

I'm not done yet, the real one will be up after I get the e-mail page up where people can enter their company's plans, price, Advertised speed, their speed, reliability, etc., and it will be sent to my e-mail. Then I will take the average of all of the information, and post who is the best. In my next post, the website will look much more professional and it will include Dsl, Ftth, All Wireless, and Cable. Will, I'm out, lates.

More expensive -- do not mind as long as I am able to get close to the 1.5 download cap. At least it is not as expensive as California, where it costs $103.95 per month for 1.5/384.:( We really do not need higher than a 128 cap anyway as servers are disallowed. Did the sales rep tell you when the 1.5/128 option would be available? Please let us know if you can.

Allot of people in California can get ATTBI at $35.95 (1.5 Mbps / 128 Kbps). I fell sorry for the people in California that are paying that much! There are some people in California that can get as many as 25 different Cable ISPs. I wish there where as many DSL, or better yet Dial-Up ISPs as there where Cable ISPs.

I have been hearing bad stuff about Charter Pipeline, worse about Verizon, Verizon's lines, and Verizon's Open Line (don't know the exact name) policy. Sorry..
