Re: WARNING: Flash based speed tests may be !%*#$%

YOUR flash is broken. not flash speedtests.
tomorrow somebody will come with a thread titled "WARNING: Java based speed tests may be !%*#$%"
will that make it any more accurate than your claim? nope.

just because YOUR flash plugin is broken, doesn't mean it's broken for everybody else.

My flash??? Last I looked it was Adobe's Flash

And before more of the flash defenders come out of the woodwork I concede FLASH IS AWSOME ... However if you want a somewhat reasonable speed test you might want to question the development language the app was written in if ONE language is consistently giving absurd results.

once again, YOUR flash plugin is broken and is "consistently giving absurd results". other people on this forum have no problem with it.
if you still can't get a hint, fix your computer before blaming perfectly working application.
start off with: UNINSTALL ALL OF YOUR FLASH PLUGINS, DELETE ALL FILES RELATED TO FLASH PLUGIN, INSTALL FLASH PLUGIN 10.2.

Yes... I'm well aware how to fix issues with bored software.. My warning is to anyone else who gets similar bored results and thinks their connection is bad.

We can all agree that if adobe flash can get borked and yet still function on my system it can happen to others.... This was the purpose of this post.
