ISP automatic forums » Metrocast Communications → What counts towards metered traffic?

Reviewing some logs I noticed 18% of my incoming drops are from 222.186.13.212, 15% from 221.192.199.48, 11% from 221.192.199.46 and 9% from 202.102.234.87. All the IPs resolve to China.

I recognize this is minuscule but does anyone know if incoming bot harvesters count towards allotted metered rate? Are percentages of dumped traffic taken in account when this is calculated? Just curious if anyone has any input as my neighbor has the cheapest package. I fear he will hit his monthly rate quick.

I would guess traffic is traffic no matter if you asked for it or not. So where is the webpage I can go and get my useage?

I leave it to my router to tell me my usage.
