I had this happen last week. I let it go and the whole PS died, which caused my ONT to lose power. Had no FIOS TV/Internet until tech was dispatched 36 hours later.

Turns out the problem was not the battery but the actually power unit. Might pay to get it checked out as if that goes you wont be able to get any service till it comes back.
