Am I the only one who thinks this is a BAD thing?This merger WILL RAISE PRICES! Period! AT&T has to come up with that 37 billion dollars somehow-and they will raise prices to do so. When the dust settles, you will have two main players-Verizon (telco) and AT&T (telco #2). This merger is exactly what the FCC tried to ELIMINATE when they broke up the telco monopoly back in the 1980s.
Don't kid yourself-EVERYONE will wind up paying more if this 'merger' (really a swallowing up of T Mobile by the deathstar) is allowed to go through. |
