[Theory] Fury Rotation - Which is best

Click for full size
I'm attaching a pic of a spreadsheet because I was looking at the fury rotation and well i have a question.
The spreadsheet shows 2 ways you can go fury rotation.
The left rotation which has 20 Highlighted is where you would pause to wait .5 seconds for colossal smash to come off of CD rather than just toss a BT out there and have CS ready but not used.

Now, with the way RB times out basically what the sheet shows is this.
At 41 seconds with a pause in the rotation of .5 seconds you get
CS x 3 with 8 attacks being gaining from the debuff
BT x 13
RB x 6
Slam x 6

The right side rotation shows if you just pick whatever is up at the time 20 seconds rolls around and you get
CS x 2 (with 7 attacks gaing from the debuff)
BT x 14
RB x 7
Slam x 6

The difference being
Left Side gains 1 CS and 1 attack benefitting from CS but loses .5 seconds in the rotation

Right said gains 1 BT but loses 1 attack benefiting from the CS debuff.

My question is would it be better to stutter for .5 seconds at 20 seconds in the rotation to use CS?

Or

Go with traditional NEVER STOP hitting?

Thoughts?
p.s. the yellow indicates the 6 second debuff from CS.

Are you comfortable with SimulationCraft?

If so you can input your rotation priorities in and figure it out. But in all honesty, I believe that someone on elitist jerks has already done so. At least I know they have done some similar simulating for Arms and waiting .5 seconds for a Mortal Strike so it lines up better with CS.

This is something that can't really be speculated on. I hate to send you over there to sift through the mounds of Fury info they have. But if you can't sim it yourself, more than likely someone has already done it and posted the results on their forums.

I think there is something pretty important missing from that graph - which one produces higher dmg/dps? Does it really matter which one you pick without having that info?

With that said, if you are not worried about your own meter performance, the left side benefits the melee/hunter in your group/raid and would lead to a greater gain. No?

Colossus Smash only effects the Warrior's attacks, so neither rotation would benefit the raid moreso than the other.

my bad, I thought it was a benefit to all. Blizzard should redesign it to be so IMO.

That might be a bit OP, stack the raid with 4 fury and keep the boss naked 100% ^_^

You could also make friends with a hunter and have him pull his armor debuff pet out (usually a raptor) so you don't have to worry about it...

If I'm understanding what you guys are talkng about here anyways.

Colossal Smash is an ability that fury warrior (others?) have which allows the warrior's own attacks for the next 6 seconds to completely ignore armor on the mob, not an armor debuff for others.

I’m completely sorry for wasting everyones time, here’s the thing, I have a dentist appointment Saturday to have a tooth pulld, in the meantime I’m huffed up on Percocet, I looked at my own spreadsheet last night after I got home and I was like WTF. Needless to say both rotation benefit from CS the question is what skills but because there are so many “proc” type abilities that depend on RNG you really are left with more of a priority system then a traditional rotation. In keeping withy my sites mission statement I really don’t care to visit EJ to get THAT detailed. I can pull respectable dps (top of the meter dps) so I’m not to worried on a .5 sec variance.

It is interesting though assuming all things Proc in a perfect setting there’s a some funny rotation type stuff that goes on at about 90 seconds into the “standard” rotation that has you casting slam, bt, slam, bt because everything else is on CD.

So again forgive the ramblings of a warrior under the influence:)

What blows is I was supposed to have it taken out last weekend, i go to the dentist and realized i don't have my ID and they wont take my word that i'm me:)

So i had to endure another week of OMG pain or OMG lack of lucidness.

I chose the latter.
