OOPS Sorry about the duplication. I was so shocked I forgot that "search" is my friend. Anyway, speeds are great.

Although I think Speakeasy needs some help with their download speed test.

Rebooted and see it here in Schaumburg. Not much difference in speeds with the standard Performance tier.

Only seeing 2 bonded upstream channels in Joliet, not 3, but that's twice as better as one !

I rebooted last night for grins and it took me back to 1 channel. It looks like maybe they are working on the channel bonding.

Bridgeport area, about a mile west of Comiskey. (no I am not calling it the cell or us cellular.. it's Comiskey Park.)

That's odd that you don't have it yet then. Yes, I still call it Comiskey too. Old habit die hard.

Well like I had in my above screen shot I did have it till I rebooted the modem. As much as I am waiting for it, until they fix my upstream signal issues (that keep fluctuating) upstream bonding doesn't do me much good.

Just read this thread today, so I rebooted my WBM760 and now I'm bonded 4x2 on the Romeoville headend.

Awesome!

I noticed a speed increase on my upload.

Yep, awesome is right. And I noticed much more stability in both the download and upload, well except on the Speakeasy test where it only registers half of my download speed. Upload is fine on all test test sites though. This is what Speakeasy shows:

Last Result:
Download Speed: 51258 kbps (6407.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 10646 kbps (1330.8 KB/sec transfer rate)

And this from Comcast:

Go figure.

Hmm, its strange that there is a different QAM modulation for each channel. Comcast must be testing different modulations and different channels.

I was wondering about that too...

Like "this area gets all different QAM", "this area gets 64 on all channels", etc

Super. Looks like they're moving pretty fast. Maybe by the end of the year we will have that 200Mbps speed a sales rep told me about.

that is 105 exteme package
115mbps
comcast overprovision
the 50mbps is like 58mbps
this is added bonus
unlike DSL 6mbps is like 5mbps after 20 percent overhead
3mb is 2.5mb in real test. due to 20 percent pppoe overhead
its good to have seperate connection
i try sharing connection on my 105 extreme and when i download file it very slow... multiple connection slow down my internet connection too much..

I heard 250mbps will be offered by comcast by 2012 to all comcast subscriber or customer...
i wonder how fast i take to reach 250gb cap?
10 minute? 20 minute? 30 minute?
