JR, can't really say why I cut the base out. I was using a 100mm macro lens, and had to back up a ways to get the shot I wanted. I wasn't really interested in the whole planter as I was the effect of the crepe myrtle gauntlet. I've actually never seen this in summer and bet it would look really great with all the blossoms now. |
