With your situation, 2 HD wouldn't trigger that message. It would come up if there was a 3rd HD channel being either recorded or watched.
I only have one TV and so yes I was definitively only watching one HD channel. Did not know you could record two channels at the same time, but no I was not.
Also the tech support confirmed I was only on a 1 HD package as he called it, which sounds like he meant a profile.
