Some people have had problems, however mine was on by the connection date. They have until 5 PM to get it turned on, so you might just have to sit back and be patient. It's hard, but you'll enjoy the speed of the DSL even more when it is turned on. If they don't have it turned n by 3 PM or so, then I'd call to make sure they didn't change the date and forget to notify you.

well this is not good news for me. I just got off the phone with pacbell and they told me that I no longer qualify for dsl because I'm 25000 feet from CO. Before i was told i was at 14000 feet from CO and the order was placed according those records. They also told that I will never qualify for Project pronto because I am in the area where the loop in too long and outside Project pronto area. I don't think this make a lot of sense, do you have any suggestions or alternative for high speed services Thanks |

So you picked up your house and moved two miles down the road? Just out of curiosity, using the CO Finder here and Yahoo Maps' Driving Distance what is the door to door driving distance from your house to the C.O.? Does it look that you are over four miles from the C.O.? |
