OptimumOnline → REQUEST FIRMWARE UPGRADES HERE ONLY

The automatic push of Version 4.4.0 to Motorola SB4100 modems is underway. Before you request the upgrade via this forum, LIOptonline (Yahoo Group), or e-mail, check your version at »192.168.100.1. You may already have it.

Please add your request to the end of this thread.

You can use this thread to request a firmware check or upgrade for any modem model that OOL currently supports (3com, Terayon and Motorola). Note that with the exception of the SB4100 v4.4.0 upgrade, most upgrades do not result in noticeable speed improvements.

We usually just need the HFC MAC address. Please just include that. If we need more info, we'll ask via IM.

If you are not on the Optimum Online network, we can't communicate with your modem and can't push firmware to it. You will have to contact your own service provider. Sorry.

Hello engineer..thanks for my update the other day..great job! My friend just got OOL yesterday and he needs the update: His HFC MAC: 00:04:BD:05:D4:6E

Note: ealier today his speeds were only 923/49..told him to call tech support..they said all is well! They must have done soemthing becasue the speeeds are now 2636/834 and i am sure the firmware will boost it...thanks again for your efforts!

thanks for sending teh firmware to my friend....current OOL speedomter says 4032 kbps...bos.speakeasy..net shows 2671 down and 934 up...any suggestions to get himup to the 8000 range? thanks in advance
