PC gaming Tech → ONI Demo mirrors?

The Oni demo has been released here: http://www.avault.com/pcrl/demo_temp.asp?game=oni

But the server is flooded or something. Does anyone know of any mirrors?

Fileplanet was swamped last time I checked. It's never good for me anyway...

It's in the main directory. Anonymous login. I got 45k/s to it...a little more than half my bandwidth but I at least got it.

Everything about it screams "CONSOLE". The muddy textures, spotty control, NO IN-GAME SAVE FEATURE, no way to access options while you are playing...if the final game ends up being like that I'm probably not going to get it. Other than those things, it's a fun game.

I remember the game being talked about a long long time ago..played through the game demo and reminds me too much of Omnikron which blew..Oni had a lot of just running around and a lot of me saying to myself "WTF ..the bad guy has a machine gun,railgun,grenade launcher and I have an empty pistol?" I may buy the game if it ever comes out but for no more than $34.99 which is what I paid for American McGee`s Alice.

Just played through the demo and Omikron came to my mind as well. Yeah, it seems like two years ago I saw a movie of this game and it looked awesome...and it would have been if it had been released then. And it will probably be pretty good on a console too. I wonder what took them so long.

Not enough programmers and money but that changed recently when MS bought the company..ONI is in the same time lag as TF2.
