Ok i`ll admit i didnt do an exhaustive search... but i put a few minutes into it, and it looks like that heater may be possibly made in PR... though I havent found a line that says "Proudly made in PR" (or any combination of) which would be a selling point methinks.

I sell/install Bosch heaters, though, and I can definitely say they are designed in Germany, and assembled in Portugal. They have a well backed 12yr (15yr thru me) heat exchanger warranty, and 2-5yr parts warranty, depending on model. Parts and tech support are available, and are quite competent. The 1600P is a nice little cheap heater, with an expected 15-25 year life span, with proper maintenance.
