FiOS PQ is better than anything I've seen. And the better picture quality is discernably noticable. DirectTV, Time Warner, RCN, CableVision, Comcast, you name it.

Hands down, FiOS PQ is just better. Check your setup especially the splitters. There is no compression with FiOS. Whatever they get, it gets handed to you (the PQ).

Setup had only one splitter. In from ONT and out to router and STB. Digital loss doesn't manifest itself as a drop in sharpness or resolution. It caused blocking, which was not what I was seeing.

It could have been the crappy Cisco DVR.
