zyphos posted : The instructions to set up a dummy IP address is in the new Green Book (the newest version of WinPoet. However if you don't have the new book you can download the green book in MS Word format from the their website. http://www.bellatlantic.net/infospeed/help/install/index.html#software and download the the Greenbook for WinMe. I'm not sure what page it is, but it's there. And although the greenbook is for WinMe, I tried it on my old computer using Win98 and it workeed.

You should check the Green Book to be 100% accurate, but I'll tell you what I did anyway:
Go to Control Panel, click on Network.
Click on TCP/IP=>(name of your network card or ethernet card)
click properties
click IP Address
click specify an IP Address
Now, for your IP address enter the following, 10.255.255.10
For your Subnet Mask enther: 255.255.255.0

click OK, Click OK, restart your computer.

That's it.

Good luck
