Office 2010 Deployment

slcpd6469 posted : I'm getting ready to deploy Office 2010 to about 100 machines (80 Win XP SP3, 20 Win7). I have configured the config.xml file and created the .msp file and setup the scripts in GPO. I have 2 problems Windows 7 doesn't show any splash screen/progress bar while installing but XP does. Then on XP after the install finishes and an Office app is launched I'm prompted about update scheduling where as Win 7 doesn't prompt. I'm not sure what is going on. Anybody have any thoughts?
