Re: opinions on Siemens/Efficient Speedstream?I had the SMC wireless 4 port (SMC7004AWBR) 5435 and 5312 part #'S) THE 5312 is stable and worked fine. So I went and tried to buy another only finding that the newer 5435 part number was available, bought it and got lockups.
Any way I exchanged for the speedstream, not knowing it is the same router (I opened both the parts and board are IDENTICAL). And the firmware is similar but the speedstream 2623 wireless seems much more stable so far.
I only use orinico gold wireless cards so that helps the range 100+ feet. |
