This is why good scifi is dead on TV. A show with the production quality of Star Trek TNG, Firefly, BSG(the 2000s version), Xfiles, etc. All need a big budget.

Eh it probably would have anyway. Having a cable channel devoted to tech these days is risky when the techsavvy crowd are the first ones to dump their cable and turn to online content. I mean, twit.tv has turned into something very successful and it's been sustaining itself longer than ZDTV and TechTV did combined.

Now I hear Attack of the Show and XPlay are over and the network is supposed to turn into some sort of male enhancement network (for kiddy boys to drool over dumb blondes and stuff). It seems that with every iteration, the network just keeps stooping lower and lower on the food chain.

It's like TLC (nothing learning on that channel any longe)r, or History, which has 1/2 remotely history based programming, and SciFi (which can't even spell SciFi any longer, SyFy how idiotic), which has the worst orginal programming they've ever had (they used to have some good shows). Even FoodTV has turned into a garbage collection, all the good chefs and educational stuff is gone gone gone.

What is happening to G4, anyone have the inside dope? I'd like to know if Comcast is throwing away yet another TV network to garbage?

I am asking a question here, I'd like to know if anyone knows what will happen.
