You should or might experience the server time-out.
Also after many searches of this nature, I notice Firefox start consuming 100% CPU also at times.
So far I tried disabling dns prefetch and I don't have the server time-outs but more the CPU going through the roof.
network.dns.disablePrefetch
***Happened again trying to edit this post.
I see no requests when I look on currports.
If I try favorite links, forefox doesn't try to make any connects, just 2 listening ports on the internal.
Firefox is dead in the water unless I close everything and lose any work.
