There is NOTHING wrong with my settings. I do not wish to be tracked at one of the most notorious sites out there for tracking.

Well, in just now going there to again read the article using Opera 12.14 with JavaScript and Flash disabled, the site (as well as anything else) placed no cookies on my system - and the article was perfectly readable. There is nothing in persistent storage here (especially since I keep that set to zero allocation), either. I'm curious as to how you believe the site tracks people as you describe.

I have tracking protection on in my browser as well and was able to read it too...

Now why would you jump to that conclusion without checking? I use just about every tracking addon I can find, and they all do their jobs without blocking the contents.

Try not to make things so personal.
