I've done a lot of referral for all my client at the place where I work but I doubt they've mentioned my name. Anyway, I can't believe we'll be getting 150/10 as well, woohooo!!!! Wonder what the price will be for it.

If going by current pricing probably $90 for 300Gb.

I don't see a point of that kind of speed with that low bw limit for that $.

It may make sense for those that can shuffle around their downloading to the happy hour block. Because let's be honest, the a good chunk of the usage on speeds like 150Mbps will be for large file downloads (any files, regardless of legitimacy). Most other internet usages will never see any benefit of 100Mbps+ unless the home has 8+ members that will use the internet regularly. At 8, every person would have almost 20Mbps (of course it would never divide out like without specific QoS policies) which is enough for typical usage with full HD streaming.

150/10 should be a nice package, but I think that tier will have a pretty good adoption rate. It should in theory only apeal to a niche market (short term) and a large portion of that niche are TPIA customers. But a recent survey the majority of Canadian consumers don't know what speeds they pay for, so Rogers can just sell it as the "FASTEST" (Ultimate Package) and many will bite. My neighbour has, and they are only a family of 3. So I can see 150/10 being popular regardless.

Well give Rogers a kick in the butt, and tell them to hurry up, so I can leave them.
