DSLR Minecraft serverOkay ladies and gents... Here's the story... I have a friend of mine who does tech support for a server hosting company, and they give him a few free servers, one being a Minecraft server. I have the IP address for it, and right now it has some map he found on the Internet loaded on it.
So... Should we just start a fresh (blank) map, or does anyone want to play this map and just add to it?
If anyone wants the IP address, please message me and I will give it to you. I don't want to put it out for public view, I want this to be a DSLR only server, if possible. |

Sorry for the delay folks, I have been busy with work, and been keeping up with DSLR via my phone. It doesn't tell me when I have IM's though.... ugh....
If there are any issues, please let me know. I don't think the server is in whitelist mode, but if it is, just IM me your username and I will add it. |

The map that's on there now is on Creative mode and already has a pretty impressive medieval castle, dock, ship, etc.
I'd be down for a totally new random seeded map on Survival mode. |

Well, the server have been reset, and is now in WHITELIST mode.
So.. for you to access the server, you have to send me your Minecraft screen name...
Ray - I will have you name added here in a few minutes....
Please note that I work during the day, so it will be after 5pm before I can add any new names to the whitelist, unless I get them in the morning before i go to work. (Around 6 am EST) |

Please keep in mind. One thing I cannot tolerate is griefing, or destroying someone else's hard work. If you are found to be griefing, you will be warned first. Second time, you're removed.
I guess I should draft some rules for this thing.
Other than that, I am pretty flexible. I don't care what you build, as long as you don't destroy the world.
Oh, and sometimes it's hard, but if you can, please fill your creeper damage back in. It doesn't have to be the same contour, but if a creeper blows a hole in the plains, please try to fill it in.

5 Gun Powder + 4 Sand... = TNT.. 1 Stick + Redstone Powder = Redstone Torch... Happy Hunting  .. Side note. Is PVP on? When fighting mobs, i swing wide and do not want to hurt anyone who is close to me. |

You should see the hole I blasted early on in a single player game.
256 blocks of tnt in a dug out hole midway between surface and core.
not worth a crap for mining but it is HUGE...
Redstone torch,lots of redstone wire and repeaters and alot of running involved here!
It was fun though! |

Yeah... I didn't get a chance today to get on. My son sent me a message over Facebook to let me know it updated.
The server is now running 1.5.2...

In case anyone is wondering, this is running on a 6GB shared gaming server, that is rated for 75 players. I have it limited to 20, but we can always go more if we need to. |

It is working fine in Phoenix Created a Hovel at the top of the hill by the starting area. anyone Spawning into the game should at least have a place to hide until the sun comes out. If you go for the wood behind the hovel, re-plan any saplings that drop. (kinda started in a wood-less area) |
